I am Daniel. Systemic coach, sparring partner and the reflecting mirror for all the topics and blocking thoughts that keep you from living up to your full potential.
As a solution oriented coach I support people in recognizing and dissolving inner blockages as well as old behaviors that stand between the here and now and their self-determined, authentic life.
Together with my clients I set out on the path to more clarity, self-determination and satisfaction – in their private as well as in their professional life. I work remotely and on-site.
Many of us know it: From the outside, "everything is good", we basically have everything we need and "one should" be satisfied after all. Nevertheless, many of us feel the desire for more satisfaction, more balance or change. The only thing missing is the clarity of "what" and "how". We look at this together and develop your own personal path to achieve your goals.
Getting a new job, planning a career change at 40, the "next" step on the career ladder in the company or the desire for more time for friends and family: Together we work out development opportunities and the next steps towards your professional satisfaction.
Digitalization poses challenges for employees and managers: Projects are becoming more complex, the demands of employees are increasing, as is the pressure of time and competition. We look at individual leadership qualities and develop them consistently - for the full development of one's own leadership potential.
We like to fall into the same behavior patterns again and again, making the same "bad" decisions. Our "inner voices" persuade us to stay in the familiar instead of taking risks and seizing opportunities. Together we explore the underlying, subconscious beliefs and develop effective actions - for a life according to our own ideas, values and expectations, not those of others.
We often put off unpleasant decisions. While our own dissatisfaction rises, we know that something has to happen. Whether in our professional or private context, some decisions are simply difficult. But not making at all gets in the way of leading your liberated, self-determined life. I support you in getting to the bottom of difficult decisions and developing a strategy to make them - for more clarity and ease.
Trust, respect, appreciation, authenticity and solution orientation are my 5 most important principles in coaching.
I am a certified systemic coach and responsible for the coaching process and the methods used. My clients, on the other hand, are experts for their concerns, nobody knows their reality better than they do.
For this reason, I do not give advice or tips – because no one knows if they are actually helpful for the development of my clients.
I offer a protected space in which we work together on personal concerns at eye level. In my work, I always include the entire environment of my clients in order to understand the dynamics and dependencies, e.g. between work, partnership, family and private life.
How many coaching sessions we need depends very much on the particular concerns of my clients. Usually we need between 2-5 sessions of 90 minutes each.
Systemic coaching is a problem- and solution-oriented method to accompany people in a self-determined concern. Often it is about overcoming a personal or professional change or conflict situation.
Systemic coaches always view a coachee’s concern in relation to systems in their environment, such as family, friends, or workplace. “Systemic thinking” or the “systemic approach” in coaching thus means looking at the whole.
(Institute for Management Consulting, IFM, 2023)
In principle, coaching is aimed at “healthy” persons and supports finding solutions for future situations of the clients. Coaching is designed for the short term and should not be confused with psychotherapy. A demarcation between coaching and psychotherapy can be described most clearly by the presence of a psychopathology, i.e. a DISORDER on the part of the client that is assessed as clinically relevant. Conversely formulated, if a psychopathy is present, e.g. if no sufficient degree of self-direction and SELF-RESPONSIBILITY is recognizable, coaching is not helpful. (Coaching as a Profession, DBVC, 2019)
Alcohol or drug dependency, mental illness or the therapeutic processing of a person’s entire life history are the exclusive domain of appropriately trained psychotherapists, doctors and medical institutions; they are not the field of activity of a coach. (Dr. Christopher Rauen, Coaching Magazine, 2002)
It vary depends on the individual case, but in average coaching processes take between 3-5 sessions over a period of 2-3 months. However, this is very dependent on the particular concern and the availability of the client.
Each session lasts 90 minutes.
Of course. Not only since the 2020 pandemic, I´ve been working with clients via Microsoft Teams or Zoom – and thus also outside Hamburg.
