Team Coaching

As an experienced, certified systemic team coach, I help companies in developing high-performing teams:

  • Development and alignment of a common team vision
  • Conceptual development & moderation of team kick-offs
  • Resolution of conflicts
  • Coaching and fascilitation during change processes
  • Fascilitation of retrospectives
  • Development of new working methods, processes and routines

Workshops can be many things, but should never boring or unproductive. That is why I put a lot of emphasis on interaction, variety, a clear structure and transfer into practice.

My experience in designing and conducting workshops in German and English with up to 60 participants helps to ensure that the time spent is worthwhile for each participant.

Agile Transformation

As an experienced Agile Transformation Coach, I accompany my clients on their way to a more adaptable, robust and value-driven organisation.

The following steps have proven successful in my work:

  • Clarification of the “why” and objective of the agile transformation.
  • Development of a common roadmap including the “supporting pillars” of the transformation
  • Kick-off and on-going coaching of the leadership team and supporting roles e.g. agile transformation coaches
  • Development and clarification of necessary roles and processes
  • Identification of obstacles, routines and conventions that can block the agile transformation
  • Creation of an iterative process for continuous improvement
  • Identification and kick-off of suitable “pilot projects” and agile teams
  • Establishing regular reflection cycles and adjustment of next steps

As the journey towards an agile organization will help you adapting to volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous circumstances, this journey begins but never really stops.

Therefore, I help organisations to develop a long-term and sustainable roadmap for their agile transformation.

Frequently Asked Questions

My work is based on the agile mindset and the 12 agile principles. I work with maximum transparency and want to create added value in the most uncomplicated way possible. I do this by defining the goal together with my clients and regularly reflect on the outcomes. With that I reduce risks and ensure early satisfaction of my clients. Even if I work with PowerPoint slides to discuss concepts, the result and feedback from practice is decisive for me.

As a systemic coach, I always take all “environments” of clients in to account. This includes the hierarchy and leadership culture of the company, dependencies on other departments and stakeholders, as well as running and past change processes and personnel changes. These and possibly other factors influence the success and timing of an agile transformation.

I prefer working with my clients in site in face to face conversation. While that is not always possible many of my workshops will work very well in a virtual setting. For those, I will be using collaborative tools such as Mural, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Since 2015, I have been working with teams in a cross-functional, agile contexts. As a Scrum Master, I have worked with teams in Marketing/Sales and Software Development departments.

I also work part-time as an Agile Coach in IT at the energy company Vattenfall and can thus put my knowledge into practice and continuously develop it further. I consider this to be a very effective and sustainable way, instead of acting exclusively on the surface of companies through short-term mandates. The two different perspectives as internal coach and external consultant continuously enrich my wealth of experience in terms of organisational forms and various agile transformations.

So far, I have accompanied more than 30 Scrum teams in scaled agile environments and am a great advocate of the Scrum framework for solving complex tasks. However, much more important to me than learning the Scrum “mechanics” and methods like Kanban is that my teams and adjacent stakeholder groups (management, business stakeholders) understand and internalise the agile mindset.
